Café Rio Mexican Grill, the award-winning restaurant featuring made-from-scratch cuisine, is opening its doors this week at Westpark Plaza.6

With a “no microwaves and no freezers” policy at every location, Café Rio sets the standard for fresh Mexican cuisine.

Inspired by the traditional Mexican cooking found in the Rio Grande region of Northern Mexico, Southern Texas and New Mexico, the menu features a variety of customizable burritos, salads, tacos, enchiladas, tostadas and more packed with fresh ingredients, including mouth-watering fire grilled steak and chicken, cilantro lime rice, black or pinto beans, Pico de Gallo, freshly scooped avocados and more.

1The barbacoa is a must try. The delicious pork is slow simmered for hours in a blend of “Secret Spices” until it’s bursting with an undeniable sweet flavor. Try in a taco topped with Pico de Gallo, yum!

Our favorite part, Café Rio hand rolls its tortillas right in front of you, daily.

5You can’t go wrong with a Café Rio salad. Each serving starts with a large fresh-made flour tortilla baked with cheese and then topped with black or pinot beans, cilantro lime rice, your choice of meat and romaine lettuce. Finish your dish with Pico de Gallo, fresh guacamole, tortilla strips (a must!), cilantro, Cotija Cheese and your choice of our Creamy Tomatillo Dressing or Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette.

Café Rio Mexican Grill opens on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 and is located next to the Automobile Club of Southern California.
