What’s for Lunch: MOOYAH Burgers
May 14, 2015
Hurrah for Mooyah! Texas based MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes opened its first Southern California location at Alton Square in Irvine this month. The build-it-yourself burger joint offers customizable options with beef, turkey or black bean veggie patties.
Select a double or single patty and pile on the toppings with Mooyah’s selection of extras, including cheeses, veggies and a variety of sauces.
One of our favorite combos is the beef burger patty on a fresh baked white bun topped with sharp cheddar cheese, pickles, sautéed mushrooms and fried onion strings. Add some BBQ sauce to tie this zesty western burger together.
If you’re feeling healthy, try the all-natural turkey burger with avocado in a lettuce wrap for a healthy protein packed lunch that will power you through your day.
The marking of a true burger joint happens when its french fries rival the tastiness of its burgers. We suggest splitting the fresh-cut french fries and sweet potato fries with a friend to get the best of both worlds; savory and sweet!
Of course you’ll need a sweet treat to compliment your burger & fry combo. Indulge with a creamy, real ice cream shake in a variety of flavors including Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate Chip, Hershey’s Chocolate, Strawberry and Oreo.
Mooyah Burger is located at Alton Square, next to Yen Sushi & Sake Bar, off Jeffrey Rd. and Alton Pkwy. in Irvine.
