Can’t handle high heels all the time? Neither can we! That’s why we’re super excited to see slip-on sneakers everywhere these days – and not just with jeans and a T, but paired with ultra feminine dresses and even office-ready looks (think denim or chambray button-down tucked in a pencil skirt or floral A-line skirt or a button-down with blazer and cuffed jeans). It may be a bit of a head-scratcher at first, but your feet will thank you. Our favorites right now and where to buy:

1-Slip-ons2We love these calf-hair slip-ons (above, $290) from Vince at Fashion Island, they’re a little luxe and a lot comfy – and the quality and workmanship puts it above the pool of casual and sporty slip-ons. The perforated leather versions ($195) are cute too, and we imagine much more breathable. Vince is located next to Kate Spade and Elie Tahari at Fashion Island.

For a slip-on that’s a little less thick in the sole for a sleeker fit and look, Joie’s “Kidmore” sneaks are just right. Starting at $190, Joie offers 10 different fabrications of this slip-on, from leather to calf-hair, python-stamped leather and even wool — in a variety of colors from dusty rose to maroon. Joie is located next to Bose and Optical Shop of Aspen at Fashion Island.
