Frontline Heroes of Spectrum

With the ever-changing circumstances during this time, our frontline workers have been there helping the community and keeping customers happy. Here are some heroes of Irvine Spectrum Center that have done a great job serving their community, and for that, we thank them!

Dylan Dinsmore, Del Frisco’s Grille

One of my favorite parts of working at this time is working with the rest of our management team! I’d also say seeing all the support we are getting from both our regular guests and new faces! it is amazing!

One thing I have learned is how much this community (Orange County) comes together to help everyone out! We have had tons of donations to our box lunch program going toward our local hospitals, as well as tons of support for our restaurant in general!

Message: Stay strong and keep safe! If we all do our part and stay safe we will be back to our normal days in no time! And thank you to everyone who has supported both our restaurant and to the rest of our community for continuing to put themselves in harms way in order to help others! We look forward to seeing all of you in person in Del Friscos Grille soon!

Anehida Castellon, Del Frisco’s Grille

Two of my favorite or most rewarding parts of working during this time are:

One, working open to close with my management team day in and day out and the growth we’ve had as a unit.  We are going to be so much stronger after this as a team.  Two, knowing we can be the glue to hold this ship together and remain open during this pandemic we’ll be keeping the jobs of all our staff counting on us to have a restaurant for them to come back to when it’s all over.

Something I miss during this time is the interaction that happens with all the people within the walls of our restaurant.  The daily interaction with my staff and the guests dining everyday really make this a great place to come to.  One of the most rewarding parts of being a manager here at Del Frisco’s Grille was hearing the raving feedback about our servers, excellent food, and genuine hospitality that set as apart and brings our guests back day after day.

One of the many things I’ve learned during the past few weeks is what kind of person I want to be as a leader in this restaurant.  With plenty of patience and determination, I’ve adapted and forced myself to really think outside the box and do whatever it takes to drive sales and showcase who we are as Del Frisco’s Grille in Irvine.

One message I would like to share with the community would be Thank YOU!  Thank you so much for all the support.  Some of our loyal guests come back day after day to help keep our restaurant open.  Without them we wouldn’t be thriving through this time.  We can’t wait to have everyone back!”

Chris Teng, Del Frisco’s Grille

I’m constantly concerned for the well-being of my team and our customers. I always make sure that my employees are doing well, mentally and physically and keep our lines of communication open and supportive since these times are very difficult and stressful for everyone.

Being a part of helping the community with our Melting Hearts for Hospitals offer, we’re serving free meals to first responders and it’s a rewarding feeling for me to just be a part of something bigger by lending a hand.

I miss our customers and seeing people walking around Irvine Spectrum. I also miss being around family in gatherings, I miss the smiles, I miss being able to hug family that I’m not able to see due to social distancing.

During these past few weeks, I have learned that we cannot do this alone, but as a team we can make an impact.

One message I have for the community is to be safe, help one another, there is always someone who may need more help than you so be prepared to lend a hand when you can. Keep your head up, we will get through this!
