Create Memories at Storymakery

Looking for something to do with your kids for Valentine’s Day that goes beyond chocolates and candy hearts? Visit Storymakery and create a memorable storybook enjoyable for years to come!

Storymakery at Irvine Spectrum Center is hosting a special Valentine’s Day workshop on Sunday, February 5 from 10:30am – 11:30 am. During the workshop, kids go through a character-building activity and learn basic elements of plot development to create their unique Valentine’s Day story for that special someone. Plus, guests can enjoy yummy chocolates while storybooks are made! Fun!

The $25 special event pricing includes a writing workshop, copy of the storybook, chocolates, and 15% off the entire store during the event. All ages welcome. If your kids are six years or older, however, you may drop them off at the event while you shop at Irvine Spectrum Center.

If you can’t make this event, not to fret. Storymakery is open year-round and is a unique place for children and families to have fun while making memories. During an average 30-minute to one-hour visit, children will be able to use Storymakery’s kid-friendly technology to:

  • Design a storybook character of their very own
  • Receive writing guidance to create a story about their character
  • Publish the story as a book and take it home!

Another fun fact: Storymakery is the brainchild of Payal Kindiger, a 2012 Woman Executive of the Year and mother of two who was inspired by her kids to create the company. We love this!
