Experience “How Sweet It Is” at These Dessert Destinations
Desserts these days are anything but boring. From macrons to ice cream sandwiches, and fresh-from-the-oven cookies, these tasty destinations can satisfy every sweet tooth.
HoneyMee, a rapidly expanding ice cream concept opened its first South Orange County location at Harvard Place. A swirl of soft, creamy milk ice cream drizzled with golden, raw honey. That’s the simple beauty behind HoneyMee.
There are only five choices on the menu, all with a base of “true milk ice cream” that’s made without any artificial colors or flavors, just fresh California milk from a certified Kosher dairy factory. The “HoneyMee” comes topped with a 100-percent natural honeycomb chip that’s delicately sweet, while the “Sweetie” features a drizzle of liquid amber honey.
Not feeling like honey? Try the “Dear,” draped in Ghirardelli chocolate or caramel and finished with a sprinkling of French sea salt.
Cookie Connection at Crossroads shopping center brings its fresh, made-from-scratch cookies to dessert lovers throughout Orange County. The signature crackle cookie, a soft chocolate brownie rolled in powdered sugar, is a fan favorite as well as other classics including peanut butter, snickerdoodle and oatmeal chocolate chip.
This location also offers custom ice cream sandwich creations made exclusively using a variety of premium Cool Haus™ ice cream flavors including green tea, bacon and salted chocolate.
Bringing the best of both dessert worlds together, CREAM at Irvine Spectrum Center pairs freshly baked cookies and homemade ice cream to create gourmet ice cream sandwiches.
An acronym for “Cookies Rule Everything Around Me,” CREAM allows customers to choose from more than 20 ice cream options with flavors like Cup of Joe, Royal Caramel Swirl and Toasted Almond to sandwich between two fresh baked cookie flavors including classics like chocolate chip, peanut butter and oatmeal raisin, as well as other options such as lemon heaven, gluten free chocolate and vegan banana walnut chocolate chip.
Stax Cookie Bar offers a refreshing new style of ice cream and cookie sandwiches. All cookies are made in house, and baked fresh all day, every day. Best combination? One chocolate chip cookie, one peanut butter cookie with Fosselman’s Dutch chocolate ice cream in between.
