Now Open: Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana

Serving authentic Neapolitan-style pizza from a wood-fired oven, Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana is now open at Los Olivos Marketplace in Irvine.

Owner Sandro Nardone left his home of Atina, Italy, a few years ago and came straight to coastal O.C. to open his first U.S. pizzeria. The brick oven is front and center as you enter the pizzeria, just like you’d find in Italy, and the pies are topped with imported fior di latte or cow’s milk mozzarella, the same variety most Neapolitan-style pizzerias offers.

You’ll find all the markings of a true Napoli pie, from charred spots to a slightly molten center and crispy but chewy crust.
A few of our favorites include (left to right) the Melanzane E Scamorza, Eggplant, Smoked Mozzarella Di Bufala, San Marzano DOP Pomodoro Sauce, Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Fresh Basil; the Boscaiola, Napoletana Style Sausage, Mushrooms, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, Fresh Basil & Extra Virgin Olive Oil; and the Pere e Noci, Gorgonzola Cheese, Walnuts, Pear, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, Fresh Basil & Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
