Fresh pressed juice bars are hotter than ever – here’s a guide to where to find the best of the liquid bunch in Orange County.
After opening at both Fashion Island and Westcliff Plaza in Newport Beach, Pressed Juicery has just landed at Irvine Spectrum Center. The popular juice bar uses a custom hydraulic press to gently extract vitamins and minerals for a perfectly pure blend of fruits and vegetables.
The Greens 5 ($6.50) is packed with vitamin rich greens like spinach, romaine lettuce and cilantro, along with the refreshing citrus flavors of pineapple and orange.
For a sweet treat try the Chocolate Almond ($6.50) or Vanilla Almond ($6.50). Whether you crave cacao or vanilla bean, these two juices are an indulgence you can feel good about!
True Food Kitchen at Fashion Island serves up liquid nirvana in the form of the Hangover Rx ($5), a silky blend of pineapple and coconut water — the perfect antidote to hot weather days.
For a rainbow selection of beverages, head to LYFE Kitchen at Irvine Spectrum Center. The Orange Ginger Chia ($1.99) with fresh-squeezed orange juice, filtered water, lime, raw ginger syrup, lemon verbena, mint and chia seeds is a refreshing favorite.
Nekter Juice Bar added a grown-up twist to classic pressed juices by creating a collection of premium cold-pressed mixers that transform ordinary spirits into vibrant, flavorful cocktails called Nekter on the Rocks. Look for locations across Orange County at Quail Hill Shopping Center, University Center and Orchard Hills Shopping Center.
Our favorites include Beach Berries ($9.00), a breezy blend of blackberries, strawberries, lemon, agave and basil and the SoCal Margarita ($9.00), a bright mix of lemon, agave, lime and orange: it’s like sipping on sunshine.
For fresh juices with a view of the Pacific horizon, look no further than Babette’s over at Crystal Cove Shopping Center. The restaurant’s signature No.2 juice ($10) is an expertly pressed blend of kale, pineapple, cucumber and lime.
Soon to come: Juice Served Here, a sleek juice bar from LA known for innovative cold-pressed detox juices, is coming this fall to Fashion Island. Juice Served Here will offer a wide selection of pressed juices, shakes, shots, coffees and more in a stylish and welcoming setting.
We can’t wait to try the buzzworthy Charcoal Lemonade ($8.00), which contains activated charcoal, clay, raw sugar cane juice and alkaline water. Juice Served Here will be located across from Swimspot near Tesla.
