Irvine Spectrum Center is celebrating 20 years of fun, flavor, entertainment and style!
As one of Southern California’s most popular entertainment and lifestyle destinations, Irvine Spectrum Center is inviting the community to come out for a day and evening of family-fun games and entertainment to celebrate. We’re calling it Summer Fun Games!
From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 11, Giant Wheel Court will be transformed into game central. Guests can challenge each other in bingo and play oversized Jenga with a game host and DJ – and spin a wheel for prizes. Additionally, guests can enjoy complimentary rides on the dazzling, all-new LED-illuminated Giant Wheel.
Plus, take a trip down memory lane with the fun historical timeline posted here: www.shopirvinespectrumcenter.com/spectrum20th.
In 1995, Irvine Spectrum Center opened with 250,000 square feet of dining and entertainment, including the Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 IMAX & RPX, the first Megaplex Theatre in the world with 6,400 seats and 21 screens, including an eight-story high IMAX screen.
Today, Irvine Spectrum Center has grown to more than 1.2 million-square-feet, with the country’s largest and most successful Improv Comedy Club, along with a Nordstrom, Target and H&M.
Let’s take a look back at the history of the Irvine Spectrum Center.
