Been meaning to try some notable new restaurants you haven’t had the chance to? Now’s the perfect time: several restaurants at Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum Center and many other Irvine Company shopping centers are participating in O.C. Restaurant Week, which will be held March 1 to March 7. The annual culinary event features more than 100 restaurants that offer special prix-fixe menus at discounted prices, with $10, $15 and $20 lunch menus and $20, $30, $40 and $50 dinner menus.

“This year we have an unprecedented number of restaurants from our centers participating in O.C. Restaurant Week – definitely a sign of all the great new restaurants that have opened in the last few years,” said Stacie Ellis, senior marketing director of Irvine Company Retail Properties. “It’s a great way for food-lovers to discover new restaurants or return to established favorites to try new dishes.”

Diners can look forward to signature specialties that include: FIG & OLIVE’s truffle risotto or rosemary lamb; CUCINA enoteca’s shortrib papardelle; Red O’s carnitas in red chile poblano; Canaletto’s housemade ravioli with roasted pear; BRIO Tuscan Grille’s handmade lasagna bolognese; Del Frisco’s prime cheeseburger; Paul Martin’s brick chicken; Bluefin’s sashimi salad with ponzu and basil oil; Provenance’s shortrib pot pie and Tommy Bahama Grille’s roasted BBQ Kalua pork flatbread.
