Because summer seems to last forever in sunny SoCal, being beach and pool-ready is practically a year-round necessity. We’ve got you covered at Fashion Island, where you can now find everything you could possibly need for the sultry days of summer thanks to our newly minted collection of swimwear boutiques.
Fashion Island’s newest swimwear boutique is Maui-based Letarte. Known for its luxe swimwear, the boutique also features rashguards, bohemian-inspired apparel and cover-ups, plus sun skincare and children’s beachwear. Letarte is located in the Eastside building adjacent to Macy’s.
Seafolly, the uber-hot Australian swimwear brand, opened its first U.S. location last year at Fashion Island. Here, you can find mix-and-match swimwear in fun and fetching prints from vivid florals to stripes to neon-tastic colors. Celebrity fans include Beyonce, Katy Perry and Behati Prinsloo. Seafolly is located next to Nordstrom.
“Most women dread shopping for swimwear, so we created SwimSpot to be the quick, easy and fun destination to buy women’s swimwear for the modern sun lover,” said SwimSpot creator Lisa Vogel in an interview with O.C. Register.
O.C.-based SwimSpot, from swimwear industry veteran Lisa Vogel, was created as the retail leg of Raj Manufacturing, a Tustin company that makes swimsuits for several major brands like Hurley, Reef, Athena and Guess. The Fashion Island boutique features brands such as Ella Moss, Guess, Splendid, Hurley, LUXE by Lisa Vogel, Next and Nautica. SwimSpot also features “fit specialists” to help women find their ideal swimsuit in as painless of a process as possible. Call ahead to schedule a fitting and you’ll be served champagne! SwimSpot is located across from C. Wonder.
San Lorenzo Bikinis is where you find those daring itty-bitty bikinis – not for the timid beach bunny. Established in Peru and Brazil, the swimwear line features cheeky mix-and-match separates, barely-there string bikinis and ruffle thong bikinis. San Lorenzo is located next to Dita Legends.
