Pucker Up with the Orange Lipstick Trend

OK, so orange will likely never be the new black (BUT we are kind of obsessed with the show). The fiery hue though, is oft-overlooked and can be a polarizing pick when it comes to fashion (certainly when it comes to apparel and accessories), but it can also be surprisingly flattering. The best way to try this still-hot color trend? A quick swipe across the ol’ pucker. Witness: Tom Ford’s “Wild Ginger” (available at Neiman Marcus at Fashion Island) is a very wearable shade of orange and the lipstick is rich and glides on like buttery silk without being overpowering. We also love MAC’s “So Chaud” lipstick (available at Nordstrom), a matte and vivid tangerine. Trust us, if you can wear red lipstick, you can rock orange, too.
