Brooks Brothers, one of America’s most enduring clothiers, has opened at Fashion Island.  Founded in 1818, Brooks Brothers was the first ready-to-wear fashion emporium in America and remains a notable purveyor of high-end, classic American menswear, having outfitted a total of 39 U.S. presidents in custom-made suits. Brooks Brothers suits have also been featured in TV hits such as Mad Men and Gossip Girl, as well as in the 2013 film, The Great Gatsby.

Find great classic apparel, from polos to trousers (we like these red cotton pants with the cheeky embroidered horses, would look great cuffed up with boat shoes). Another casual wardrobe essential: the chambray button-down, a versatile shirt that pairs well with jeans, khakis and even slacks in hues such as dark green, oxblood, dark grey and brown for that perfect Casual Friday look at the office. We also loved the supple navy leather flats (above) with a matching leather tote, also great staples for going to work.
