Love in Irvine

Love… (OMG, we can’t believe we just typed that! How Carrie Bradshaw circa 2008 are we?)

Anyway, the day that Cupid made to celebrate the one thing that there’s just too little of is just around the corner.  Here’s what some of the restaurants at Irvine Spectrum Center have put together to help make February 14th an enchanted evening with your beloved:

Capital Dim Sum – Seafood – Bar (949.788.9218)
The place to go for authentic Chinese cuisine hosts dinner from 5-10pm with a special Valentine’s Prix-Fixe menu for two that includes dessert and a bottle of wine for just $35 per person.

California Pizza Kitchen (949.585.9531)
CPK adds a special dessert to their menu in the name of love – A Red Velvet Cake frosted with vanilla bean cream cheese and white chocolate curls served on a vanilla bean sauce that is perfect for sharing. Yes please!

Paul Martin’s American Grill (949.453.1144)
Already known for their seasonal, farm fresh menu, Paul Martin’s will offer three additional special entrées: mesquite grilled Filet Mignon and North Atlantic Lobster with drawn butter ($48), the North Atlantic Lobster Dinner with drawn butter and grilled broccolini ($38), and an all natural Blackened Ribeye served with housemade mashed potatoes ($34).

Yard House (949.753.9373)
Start your night with chocolate stout or a festive cocktail, like the Lost Lover or Shaggatini. Then stay to indulge in Lobster Mac & Cheese, S’Mores Brownies or many other delectables on their special Valentine’s menu.

Additionally, consider us you own personal sommelier as we suggest the following pairings to complement your meal:  Laugh at love (or yourself) as the Improv hosts two shows on February 14 at 8pm and 10pm (949.854.5455).  Impress you date with your skating skills and glide hand in hand across the Ice Rink (skatespectrum.com).  Stemz, located near the food court, has flowers and beautiful arrangements that can be picked up or delivered (949.450.0652).  Or if you’re a traditionalist, there’s always Edwards 21 Cinemas…since there’s nothing more romantic than hands meeting at the bottom of a bucket of popcorn.

Other restaurants at Irvine Spectrum Center include CUCINA enoteca, Javier’s Cantina, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, Izakaya Wasa, The Cheesecake Factory, or the new menu at renovated P.F. Chang’s.  For a complete list of dining destinations at Irvine Spectrum Center, please visit shopirvinespectrumcenter.com.

Happy planning and Happy Valentine’s Day!
