Stop…Triple Axel Time!

Stop…Triple Axel Time!

Snowmen built out of sand, palm trees adorned with holiday lights, and ice skating in tees and tanks. Just some of the many reasons why we love the fall and winter seasons here in Orange County! But if you’re looking to cool down a bit, bring your friends and family to the Ice Rink at Irvine Spectrum Center in Giant Wheel Court.

Each skate session includes 75 minutes of chilling bliss on the 47 x 72 ft rink that is maintained by the world’s smallest Zamboni. Prices for adults and children are $12 Monday through Thursday and $14 Friday through Sunday, plus $2 for skate rental. Helmets are optional and provided free of charge. Season passes, private lessons and private parties are also available.

For the little ones who are eager to learn, they can take a twirl at the Spectrum Skate School that is now enrolling. This seven week program for kids is professionally instructed, includes rentals and will have them dreaming of Olympic stardom faster than you can say triple axel!

For more information about the Ice Rink, please call the Irvine Spectrum Center Guest Services at (949) 748-8280 or visit www.SkateSpectrum.com.

And then make some room on the ‘fridge in between the construction paper turkeys and cotton ball snowflakes for the full Ice Rink schedule available here.

Happy Skating Everyone!

P.S. It’s ok to wear oh-so-cute-but-maybe-too-hot-for-OC scarves and gloves. We won’t judge!
