Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky Launch Party

Urban Decay at Fashion Island threw a spectacular bash with VOGUE Magazine and Mikoh to launch its newest Naked Smoky eyeshadow palette. Wende Zomnir, the founder of the O.C. based global beauty brand, was there, along with Oleema and Kalani Miller, the sister team behind one of O.C.’s hottest swimwear brands, Mikoh.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

Die-hard fans of the best-selling series of Naked palettes know that the kits contain everything you need to create every kind of smoky eye, from a soft day-time look to serious drama for evening.

“In most Naked palettes, there is an undercurrent running through,” Urban Decay founder Wende Zomnir recently told Refinery 29. “Naked 1 was a bit more bronze-y, Naked 2 was more taupe-y, and Naked 3 was warm and rosy neutrals. [With] Naked Smoky, you have a range of neutrals — your basic matte shades, and then a mini collection of bronze, a mini collection of taupe, a mini collection of grays and blacks, and then this one eggplant. It’s a variety of color families you can dip into.”

Guests at the party enjoyed a smoking bar with bubbly, vapor-filled cocktails and the lounge area featured all-black carpet and blood-red florals.
