O.C.’s favorite California Italian restaurant features a special three-course prix-fixe menu. Begin the evening with the first course selections of either Kumamoto oysters on the shell or shaved cauliflower salad. The second course explores three options: braised pork cheek, fennel crusted salmon or duck rigatoni. The evening becomes even sweeter with the “dolci” final course menu of bourbon caramel semifreddo or torta di cioccolato.

Beloved local chef Cathy Pavlos has cooked up a deluxe five-course menu at Provenance that Valentine’s Day guests will truly savor. Guests still start with smoked salmon bell inis, followed by fresh corn chowder or a spring salad featuring some just-picked produce from the restaurant’s garden. Then dive into a perfectly seared filet mignon and finish with hand selected artisan cheeses and fruits. The finale of the five-course menu includes a selection of housemade pastries. Do sit out on the lovely garden patio for a serene al fresco dining experience.

What more could you ask for than a gorgeous setting along beautiful Newport Coast? Babette’s is easily one of Orange County’s most stunning restaurants, with plenty of delicious food to back up its good looks.  Seafood lovers can indulge in pan-seared scallops with wild mushrooms in a cauliflower Amarillo, local vegetable tagine with curried carrot couscous while meat-lovers can enjoy the sake-soy marinated rib eye with shisito pepper and charred scallion bone marrow puree. While you’re there, don’t forget to take advantage of one of O.C.’s best craft cocktail programs. The Crystal Cloud is one of Babette’s signature beauts, made with Barsol Pisco Italia, Hibiscus Cordial, Egg White, Lemon, Peyschaud’s Bitters and garnished with an edible orchid.
